Canoeing

This week was crazy... again.  I would have posted sooner, but yesterday (Wednesday) was the worst day for me.  So, after school I just went home and took a long shower and went to bed.  Anyway, Friday after school some teachers loaded up the school's canoes and went canoeing on the Yukon River.  It was absolutely beautiful and a great way to unwind from the week.  I love hanging out with my teacher friends!!! The next evening (Saturday night) Nichole and I had all of the teachers over for pizza and a movie. I made the pizzas from scratch and they were really good!!! I do not have much more to tell outside of that...

Wednesday, three of my eleven kids got into HUGE fights.  Thursday, four different kids got into HUGE fights.  Stuff was thrown across my room.  Stuff was thrown at me.  It was a bad day.  Nichole is having the same problem so right now we are taking EVERYTHING out of her classroom and locking it in an empty room down the hall.  We feel like this is the only thing to do because her students have turned everything into weapons.  They throw so many things at her and each other.  They also steal a lot of her things.  So she is starting from nothing and building up from there.  Please pray for her... and me! :)
